Aloha!!!!

Today is 01/08/2013, and I am back to school for Spring 2013 at Kapiolani Community College. I am happy to be back again at school. This time is going to be a busy time for me, because I am a full time student and I also work everyday except Tuesday and Thursday because I have all four classes on these days.Hopefully I get time to come on this page and post some pictures on and continue use it.

Place to Visit???

Hello Everyone :) 

During the past weeks I was really busy helping out family. My mom and sister plan to go to our homeland for two weeks and I was busy helping my mom to get things done before they go.

Well there are 23 more days and then it’s Christmas day, and I really want to go on a vacation somewhere but I can’t because of work. I just started and I don’t think I can. During this time it reminds me of my trip to American Samoa last year 2011 during the summer right after high school graduation, because all the people I met down there told me to go back for Christmas and I never went.

It was really fun to go on a vacation somewhere that I’ve never been before. I met a lot of kind people, I enjoyed being there for six weeks. I met Troy Polamalu with his team they also went there for vacation and they had a party that I went to. I would go back if I have the chance. I’m also thinking of visiting my homeland next summer. So for now I’m just waiting for the right time, and thinking about where to go :) 

Movie: Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn part 2

I guess I am a what they called "fan" of twilight. I have all the books and waiting for the last part of the movie so I can buy it and have them all. I wanted to have all of the twilight books and DVDs. And not just all that, but I was also always went to the movie on the very first day all the twilight movies came out. On Nov. 16, 2012 I went watched the Breaking Dawn Part 2 with my two sisters. It was kind of funny at the end of the movie because of the way Alice showed the future to the leader of the vampires, and we all thought that when they were fighting it actually happening. But then when she took her hands from the vampire leaders hand it went back, and everyone that died during the fight in her vision were there, it was only in her vision of the future. Everyone in the theater started laughing as we see that everyone in the movie were alright nobody died or got killed. I have to say they really caught us on that part.

Hi Everyone!

I just want to talk a little bit about our class discussion on FaceBook last class. I want to say that I think FaceBook does make other people jealous and also the way for the people to express their feelings of jealousy towards others.

I've had so many friends and relatives whom they were in the situation where other people that don't like them saying things and posting bad words about them and calling them names. Some they know each other and they didn't really get along.

Then I also have cousins who took picture with there guy friends even though they weren't in a relationship, but they only post pictures of them just hanging out and they get some of their FaceBook friends get mad or jealous of them. They'd go on their pictures and comment on calling them names, and tell them to take down their pictures.

For me it was pretty interesting, I commended on one of my cousins photo and I saw like a lot of notifications and when I on to see who comment on, it was one of her friends same thing, calling her name and telling her to take down the photo because she looks ugly and and like all bad words. I even tried to asked what's going on if they were serious about what they were saying, and guess what happened? She even turned on me and started to including me in whatever her business was with my cousin.

I really like the articles on FaceBook that we read last class. Also it's really interesting that the time spend on FaceBook is shorter than what it really is, well I know the time people spend on facebook is longer than what it says in the article. Interesting article!!!   

FaceBook is everywhere and people spend more time on it everyday.

Month of Ghosts!!! Halloween!!

Aloha Everyone!!!

            

 On the 10/20/12 I went to the Kapolei Carnival or E.K. Fernandez shows in Kapolei. I only went there to volunteer for my American Sign Language class (ASL). I also went on the next day same thing volunteered for my ASL class. I took some pictures of the people riding the rides. I would’ve rid one of them, but I just can’t because I to worked for the E.K. Fernandez show. It is one of the rules not to ride or play games if you’re a worker. Well that was that and who’s up ready for Halloween Night?!!

             

Well I really am going to miss out on the Halloween night fun with my friends. Unfortunately I’m working on Halloween night so I’m not going out. Did anyone buy costumes?!!! I am so excited even though I’m not going “trick or treat”. I’ll just enjoy making money that night..... Well good luck out there guys, whoever is going “trick or treat” just take care and have fun!!

Death-Run, & Other Events

Hello everyone!!!

            

 Hope everyone had a great weekend. For myself I have to say that I had a really great weekend. It was a great busy weekend, I enjoyed it.

            

 On the Friday my friend, she is from American Samoa invited me to joined her and her Marine team to run the “Death-Run” as what they called it. They have to run for about three miles around Ala Moana. I was just happy that I went with her, she was happy that I also went with her.

           

 After the Marine run, I went to the Kahala Mall for my American Sign Language class. They have a “Deaf Event” it’s what they called it, where deaf people or ASL students meet and communicate. At first I was so scared to approach them, because I don’t even know how to start a conversation with deaf people using ASL. So I waited until there were more people and I went over, and guess what? It was pretty interesting, I just started asking questions and talking to them using sign language. And so I thought to myself well that wasn’t so hard. I went home that night, and I was happy that I feel like I have achieved something really great that day.

            

 On the Saturday, I had another busy day I was driving the whole day taking my mom to a funeral, picked up her cousin and her husband from Neal Blaisdell Park and took them to the funeral too. After the funeral we had to go to a Christian party. It was a pretty long party, after the party I had to go dropped them off at Mililani because that’s where they lived. These are pretty much what I did the whole weekend, I also spend some time working on my presentation for my Biology class when I get a free time.

I have to say I enjoyed the weekend I spend more time getting things done and meeting new people even some long lost relatives!!!      

First week of October2012

Hi Everyone!!

Today I had a great day!! The whole week was really great I guess, because we had our group debate, but unfortunately we lost. I know that we all work hard on our topic and it was a really interesting topic. I think everyone did pretty good on presenting their topic. I really enjoy our class debate. I would do it again if I have to do it again. The other great thing about the past week was I had my second midterm exam in my Human Development class on the Thursday and I tried my best.

 On the Friday was another great day for me because I went out with my sisters, our one and only nephew and my best friend. We went to the movie and we watched the “Pitch Perfect”, it was a really good movie. We all liked it, it was really funny. It was about all the college students making music using their voices, and this is the kind of movie I enjoy watching, the musical movies. After our movie we took some pictures and we went to Waikiki beach just to get some fresh air, and then we dropped off my best friend at University of Hawaii Manoa for her Bible study, and we went home for the night.

On the Saturday I stayed home and not much to do I just babysat my nephew the whole day, and work on my other assignments for my other classes. I also dropped off and picked up my sisters at their work places. And yesterday which was Sunday, I stayed home again with my nephew I had a good time with my nephew. Then at 3:00pm I went to UH Manoa to work in our little store just filling up the ice box and candies boxes. Then at 6:00pm I went to church at St. Peter and Paul. After that I came home and I work on my other assignments in my other classes.
